Voxtrot have cancelled the remainder of their European dates and some in the US, in order to go on tour with the Arctic Monkeys in America. Though their European dates have been cancelled, the band intend to reschedule their US shows before the end of the year.

Black Strobe are back for another one off date in the UK. The Parisian crew, who played their last British date at Cargo in London back in April will return for an electrifying performance at Brighton’s Concorde II.
The date? September 7th. See you there.
Serena-Maneesh return for shows!Serena-Maneesh | 15 August 2007
Serena-Maneesh are due to start work on their much-awaited sophomore album, but not before they’ve honoured a couple of gig appearances, one of them just over the Irish channel. It will be the first time the band have appeared in on these shores for some time.
Seerena-Maneesh will play this year’s Electric Picnic Festival, taking place on 2nd September. For tickets and line-up visit www.electricpicnic.ie
They will also be performing a one-off homecoming show in Oslo on 24th August before they disappear back into the studio.

Voxtrot recently played at the Siren Festival in New York, where Filter magazine filmed interviews and their appearance for your viewing pleasure. You can check it out right here!
They also found time to challenge Lavender Diamond to some arcade tom-foolery. Click here to see the video.
The Band also recently appeared on MTV’s Fresher Five competition which they promptly won! Part of this was a filmed Guest Pass appearance which you can see right here.
The boys are currently in Europe touring. They come to the UK towards the end of August where they will be appearing on the Queens of Noise BBC 6 show and touring some great regional dates with support coming from Sleeping States, Fanfarlo and Pete and Pirates. Dates below. More to follow.

As you may be aware a UK single for ‘Firecracker’ will be released on August 27th. The a-side is a slightly reworked version of the track, while the b-side is called ‘Honey Bee’, and was pulled from the LP sessions. It will be available on CD and 7-inch formats. If you pick it up via iTunes, you recieve a third song as well, called ‘Loan Shark’.

Voxtrot release their excellent ‘Blood Red Blood’ single on the 14th May on 7” and download, preceding their hotly anticipated eponymous debut album, coming in the summer.
The B-side is ‘New Love’, which like the single is a catchy classic, it just happens to be on the b-side. When you’re hot you’re hot.

Black Strobe’s ‘Shining Bright Star’ is out today on CD/EP, 2×12” vinyl and Download. The single Mixmag called “A vital purchase from the dark lords of electro” was produced by Paul Epworth (Bloc Party) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson).
For the uninitiated, ‘Shining Bright Star’ is a mass of dark, gothic, electronic twists and huge basslines, and according to NME provides the missing link between “savage machinery and warm, fragile humanity.”
It’s Cyborgtastic mate!

Voxtrot are due to hit the UK once more. The band, who have been working on their debut album (which will be released in May) will be here this February for four shows, including an NME Awards show supporting the Shins.
